Okay, confession time. October is my absolute favorite month of the year. In our house, Halloween is celebrated all month long. [We even have a six-foot replica of the Grim Reaper, affectionately called "Morty".] So to say I was excited to start the month off right is a bit of an understatement. Technically, we went pumpkin picking on Sept 30th, but we'll keep that just between us. Kids had a great time, though the girl took FOREVER to choose the "perfect" pumpkin, and the boy was much more interested in digging for bugs.
